Personality:
Ulrich is a sweet man who at many times seems stupid, not completely understanding the ways of war and being so naive. He does exactly as told by his commander Herr Vogel, taking many things a little bit too literally. His personality chip makes it impossible for him to develop a ‘war veteran’ state of mind; instead he retains a childlike thought process all the way through the war. He tends to act nervous and jumpy when talking with his superiors. He also almost always adds ‘sir’ after every sentence when talking to them. Very naive and servile, but he’s an excellent and loyal soldier. He though wouldn’t acknowledge the enemy if they stood right in front of him. Unless his commander would order him to shoot, Ulrich would just talk to them and probably ask them if they need help with something. Ulrich, like every other tank can not love, but he can feel friendship. The tanks were made to feel friendship, so that the battalion would stick together and the tanks would cover each others backs, but because most tanks are male, the designers decided not to make them capable of loving.
Basic description:
He has quite large blue eyes with red dots (which can be used as lasers to help with aiming) in the middle of his pupils. His hair is blond and slicked back, in a style very similar to the regular Prussian haircut, only that the hair on his sides and back isn’t fully shaven off. He has a ‘Jewish’ nose and is probably either the only one, or one of very rare German tanks with a nose like this. It was probably supposed to be a discriminative joke in the factory, or the worker who made it was drunk, but either way, they accidentally let the nose through. Ulrich’s jaw has four sharp ‘teeth’ in the front. When he smiles you can only tell he’s smiling by the dimples on his cheeks.
Panzer IVs in the DAK wear a normal sand colored uniform with a modified insignia. Instead of a Swastika, the red armband features a target-like sign of black, white and red, the colors of the Nazi German flag. On the left chest pocket, there’s a badge of the Wehrmacht insignia. They have the right shoulder board and left collar patch of the lowest rank (Mann). They have the sleeve title and the right collar patch of the DAK. They wear a normal tank crew member cap. A radio is fitted on the right side of the neck, one wire connects to the lower jaw and the other to the chest. There is nearly always an earphone in the ear.
