The character:

Name: Ivan Tretov Pyatyi
Commander:

  • Vladimir Molotok (first, at the beginning)
  • Iosef Zvezda (second, until the end of the story)

Nationality: Russian
Model: T-35
Age:

  • At the beginning: About a year
  • At the end: Four to five years

Battle:

  • At the beginning: Battle of Moscow
  • At the end: Battle of Berlin (historically inaccurate)

Personality:
Ivan is a quite intimidating man to look at, and he is a terrifying killing machine in the battle, but when outside the battle, he turns out to be a very loving and kind person. He is powered by diesel, like most other tanks, but in Russia, many commanders tend to add a small amount of vodka to their tank’s fuel. It makes the tank more ‘human’, they say, and it shows that this is true. Ivan acts like a father to many younger and smaller tanks as well as human soldiers, and he is extremely loyal to his commander, yet he acts like a friend to him, and in return, his commander treats him with the same respect.

Basic description: Ivan has dark brown hair and eyes and huge eyebrows. His nose and jaw are slightly damaged, but the damage done doesn’t cause any problems. He is huge and powerfully built, he might remind one of a bear. He always wears his coat with it’s collar turned up, so his radio is well protected from the bite of the Russian winter.
